Some years ago we noticed that friends and relatives, whose children had grown and whose needs had changed, were searching for an alternative living environment free from the burden of home maintenance and ownership. They were looking for a place to call home in a safe and secure setting that provided an independent lifestyle, the flexibility to travel, and the opportunity to fully enjoy retirement near family and among peers. In some small way, we hope that Seasons can help by providing a place that responds to those needs and encourages the happiness you deserve during the best seasons of your life.

Seasons, an independent senior living center designed for active adults, located on Springfield’s southwest side is part of a planned retirement community for those 55 years of age and better.

Seasons offers one and two bedroom, ground-level, private, luxury apartments. All on one level, with no steps, no stairs and no waiting for elevators! Interconnecting corridors bring friends and neighbors together in the community area which includes a great room with fireplace, game room, sitting room, library, exercise room, and a kitchen perfect for events and parties. Garages, covered parking, and storage units are available. Beautifully landscaped grounds, a fishing lake, and walking paths enhance the enjoyment of this country-like setting. Every apartment has a private outdoor patio to further enjoy the grounds and gardens.

The living spaces have been designed with your needs in mind. The apartments have plenty of storage including pantries, linen closets, and walk-in closets. A washer and dryer connection is in every apartment. A stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal are provided. Individual climate control systems are in each apartment for your personal comfort. The large windows provide a bright and airy feeling, not typical in apartment living.

Particular care has been taken to design the units to adapt to changing needs. Bathrooms are handicapped adaptable so that support bars can be added as needed. Counter heights have been adjusted to be more user-friendly. Each unit is equipped with a security access system and a Stay In Touch program. All utilities are included in the rent. Residents only pay for phone and cable service.

Neighborhoods can change, friends move away, and we can become isolated in our own homes. Seasons provides you with an opportunity through our many social activities, to welcome old friends and make new ones. Overall, Seasons reflects the lifestyle you deserve and the freedom you still crave.
